Update:

06/02/06: Fired'er up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

06/01/06: Performed compression test on all cylinders Range: ( 195psi - 205psi)

05/20/06: Installed all accessories onto the 455

05/16/06: Lowered the 455 in place and torqued her down (Thanks Jimmy K.)

05/14/06: Installed new front tranny seal and 2500 torque converter

05/13/06: Added he finishing touches to the 455 and pulled the 350 (Thanks again Jimmy K.)

05/12/06: Disassemble old 350 (Thanks Lescia K. T.)

05/11/06: Installed valvetrain and heads on block

04/30/06: Test fit oil pan, heads, performed valvetrain and piston valve clearance analysis.  

04/28/06: Installed crankshaft and all 8 pistons (Thanks Jimmy K.).

04/24/06: Measured all main bearing clearances using plastigauge, installed cam bearings and cam (Thanks Ryan M.).

04/22/05: Measure ring gaps, Install rings on pistons, 

04/21/06: Clean..Clean..Clean..Clean..Clean..Clean..Clean..Clean..Clean..Clean..Clean..

04/20/06: Clean..Clean..Clean..Clean..Clean..Clean..Clean..Clean..Clean..Clean..Clean..

04/15/06: Received the block and pistons back from machine shop (.030" over, balance rotating & reciprocating assembly & wrist pins installed).  Thanks for the free ARP bolts Doug!

03/05/06: Fitted rings into block and am not satisfied with the fit (oval bores.)  Going to have Doug Lipps clean up block       .030".  I guess bore measuring is not my specialty!

03/04/06: Rebuilding heads installing head studs and removing 

03/01/06: Received, rings (to be returned), 7/16 BB Chevy ARP studs  from Ames Auto (Thanks "L" Train)

03/02/06: Received oil pan (E-Bay), T-handle, TH350 bracket and a copy of Pete McCarthy's book from Frank in California (Thanks Scott C.)

02/28/06: Received Cam, bearings, seals, eng. lifting plate from Summit (Thanks "L" Train)

02/15/06: Ordered parts from Summit Racing 

02/10/06: Ordered parts from Ames

12/10/06: Measured bores (THEY LOOK GOOD!!) and have decided to balance rotating/reciprocating assembly

11/28/06: Disassemble and began cleaning block.  

11/12/05: Bought 455 long block from Kevin & Sandy L (Whitby, ON).  Thanks for the lifting Darin M., Jimmy K
